Do I need a lawyer too?
For most day-to-day work — renewals, employee letters, standard contracts — typically no. For matters that carry real risk, yes. RestroLegal is built so a lawyer reviewing your work spends minutes, not hours.
Which laws and jurisdictions are covered?
India only, for now. We cover FSSAI & FSS Act, Indian Contract Act 1872, GST Act, Shops & Establishments Acts (state-wise), POSH Act 2013, DPDP Act 2023, and the standard labour codes. State-specific quirks (Maharashtra excise, Karnataka labour welfare fund) handled where relevant.
What languages does it work in?
Formal drafts in English (the language of Indian courts and contracts). Summaries, explanations and chat support in English, Hindi or Hinglish — whichever feels natural. Marathi and Tamil coming later in 2026.
What about my data?
Stored on Indian servers, encrypted at rest and in transit. DPDP-compliant. Your contracts and notices are never used to train external models. Export or delete everything from your dashboard, any time.
Can I cancel?
Anytime, from the dashboard. Monthly plans stop at the end of the cycle. Annual plans get a pro-rated refund for unused months.
Does it work without Restrofi?
Right now, no. RestroLegal is built as an add-on for Restrofi customers and uses your outlet data to be useful from day one. A standalone version is on the roadmap for late 2026.
