Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of RestroLegal, a compliance add-on to Restrofi. By subscribing or using the service, you agree to them.

Not legal advice. RestroLegal is a software tool that assists with legal and compliance workflows. It is not a law firm and does not provide legal, tax or professional advice. AI-generated reviews and drafts are starting points that must be reviewed by a qualified lawyer or CA before you rely on or file them.

1. The service

RestroLegal helps Indian restaurants track FSSAI renewals, review aggregator and vendor contracts, triage GST notices, draft employee and POSH documents, and manage related compliance tasks. Features depend on your plan.

2. Eligibility & account

RestroLegal is an add-on to a Restrofi account. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for activity under your account. You must have the right to upload any document you submit.

3. Plans, billing & trials

Paid plans are Starter, Pro and Chain, billed monthly or yearly via Razorpay. Prices are shown on the pricing page and are exclusive of applicable taxes (e.g. GST) unless stated.
Eligible Restrofi owners may receive a free trial. Unless cancelled before it ends, the plan you selected begins billing at the end of the trial.
Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel anytime from Settings; cancellation stops future renewals.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the service, including: uploading unlawful content, attempting to breach security, reselling the service, or using it to send spam or unsolicited email through the sending features.

5. AI output

AI features generate drafts and analyses from the inputs you provide. They may contain errors or omissions and do not constitute advice. You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying and using any output.

6. Email sending

When you send email through RestroLegal — via our sender or your own SMTP — you are responsible for the content and for having consent to contact recipients. You must comply with applicable anti-spam and data-protection laws.

7. Disclaimer & liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Restrofi disclaims all warranties and is not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid for RestroLegal in the three months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. On termination, your access ends; you may request export of your data beforehand.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, with exclusive jurisdiction in the courts of the operator’s registered location, unless otherwise required by law.
